Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum

If you have any affinity towards baseball, this is one of those places to see. Everything is relatively basic just like the game. There are batting cages where you get 10 pitches for a $1, a short film on the game, a small museum, great gift shop and some cool photo ops. The factory is very simple, but you are very close to the manufacturing process. The tour guide was outstanding and while the tour really doesn’t take that long, it’s a great tour. It cost us $30 for the 5 of us and everyone gets a souvenir mini bat at the end. We made one stop on the way to Louisville (Lafayette) and parked right around the corner. If not for the MU game, I would have loved to see a few more things in town like the Muhammad Ali Center. Next time.
