By now everyone looking at this knows Marquette won. We just happen to be in Kentucky today (Louisville not Lexington) and tried getting a table at a local Buffalo Wild Wings 1/2 hour prior to game time. The good news was the MU game was the featured game here, but as anyone could guess there were a lot of Kentucky fans also interested in watching this game. The hostess could have guessed it would be not problem getting a table in 2 hours and the 45 minutes she told us was not going to happen.
35 minutes into the game we walked over to a Tumbleweed and were able to get a table in front a TV with much fewer Kentucky fans in attendance.
At the time 4:12 PM CST after being up since 3:30AM I am exhausted. Everything went as scheduled today. We left the house at 4:20AM, twenty minutes later than I wanted. However, we we made it to Lafayette, Indiana ahead of schedule at 7:30 AM. At the gas station we ran into several MU fans who happened to have made the same pit stop as us. Even had enough time to each breakfast at a table instead of in the car.
On the road again by 8AM, we were able to reach Louisville at 10:30 cst in time for a tour of the Louisville Slugger factory and museum. If you have any interest in baseball or ever have, I highly recommend this tour.
The kids are swimming now and I am ready to sleep. Unbelievably tired...z z z z z
